Day 3: Remove Friction

Day 3 of 7

Yesterday, you installed a structure.

Today, we remove resistance.

Most people don’t fail because the task is hard.

They fail because the path contains too much friction.

Too many decisions.
Too many tabs.
Too many options.
Too much setup.

Execution dies in complexity.

So today, simplify your environment.

Remove anything that interrupts momentum.

Examples:

– Delete distracting apps
– Close unnecessary tabs
– Clear your workspace
– Prepare tomorrow’s task in advance
– Put your tools in one place
– Remove notifications
– Make the next action obvious

The goal is simple:

Reduce the distance between intention and action.

You should be able to start immediately.

No setup phase.

No mental negotiation.

No “getting ready".

Most people waste energy before they even begin.

You will not.

Your environment should pull you into execution automatically.

When friction disappears, consistency becomes easier.

Not because you became more motivated.

Because the system became lighter.

Now identify the biggest source of friction in your current workflow.

Remove it today.

Not later.
Not eventually.
Now.

Small resistance repeated daily becomes a massive delay.

Remove enough friction, and momentum compounds naturally.

Next, we build repetition and turn execution into rhythm.
